Jesus Christ Superstar is probably my favorite movie. I think it's beautiful. It's a very moving movie to me. To actually search into the human side of Yeshua is really great. My favorite song in the movie (I haven't watched it live) is Gethesemane, it's really emotional and moving.

The papal record shelf also holds the original cast LP of Jesus Christ, Superstar, which has had enough plays to satisfy an unoffended Pope that its fundamentalist hymns and hollers are shattering proof of youthās groping for God. The way I see it, if Pope Paul VI likes it enough to hold on his shelf, its gotta be at least on point with his
For fans of Andrew Lloyd Webber, the original double-album of Jesus Christ Superstar ā known as "the Brown Album" ā composed when he was 23, is a cultural touchstone and an iconic, pioneering
Jesus Christ Superstar is also a rock opera. The original Jesus was first lead singer for Deep Purple and his rendition of Gethsemane (I Only Want to Say) is a fucking hardcore banger.
